What I enjoyed so much about this drama is that it really makes you think about your limited time here on Earth. At a funeral however, she realizes that the tears shed there, excluding that of the family, were fake. Obviously Ji Hyun would be expected to have no problem achieving this. The Scheduler explains to her that there is only one way to live again: In 49 days, have 3 people shed true tears of love for her, excluding family members, with the permission to use another’s body to achieve her objective.
When she comes to this state between life and death, she meets the Scheduler, a normal-looking guy dressed all in black, destined to help her complete her mission on Earth. She then resurrects from her body not realizing that she went into a coma. Just like Shut Up Flower Boy Band, there is already a huge plot twist early in the story. On her way back from work one day, she suffers a car accident. Ji Hyun has a perfect life: a loyal best friend, wealth, and a wedding on the way., but, there are a few subtle hints at some sort of imperfection in her life. In this case, it wasn’t accompanied with the “happily ever after” that usually follows shows in this genre. Honestly, I was very skeptical of this drama because it was not as well known as others I’ve watched, but like many other dramas, it sends a positive message. This edition also has leading man Jo Hyun Jae's "Even If I Live Just One Day", Oh Hyun Ran's Feneste Che Luciv, Jae Hee's "Tears of Three", and other additional songs and instrumental tracks.I watched this drama based on a recommendation from a friend who is also an avid kdrama fan. All the songs from the first soundtrack are included in this edition, such as Jung Yup's main theme "Nothing Happened", Jung Il Woo's "Scarecrow", and songs from Tim, Suh Young Eun, Navi, and Superstar K 2's Park Bo Ram. The Premium Package Edition of the 49 Days OST comes with two CDs and a photobook. Watching over all this is Jung Il Woo as the smart-aleck Grim Reaper who can't remember his past. Bae Soo Bin co-stars as the cheating fiance, while Jo Hyun Jae is the grumpy friend who holds a torch for her. Borrowing the body of Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won), she has the chance to return to life if she can collect three pure teardrops in 49 days - but it turns out the people around her aren't as pure as she thought.
